Learn More About Fair Housing Protections
About Us
The Appalachian Ohio Fair Housing Center is a joint project of Southeastern Ohio Legal Services and Legal Aid Society of Columbus to promote fair housing choice in 35 rural southeastern Ohio counties. The project is the first coordinated effort of its kind in southeastern Ohio to provide fair housing education, outreach, advocacy, and enforcement. The first priority of the Fair Housing Center is to prevent housing discrimination through outreach and education efforts. We provide services to both housing seekers as well as housing providers and believe the key to ending discriminatory housing barriers is knowledge of the law.
The Appalachian Ohio Fair Housing Center serves the following Ohio counties: Tuscarawas, Holmes, Coshocton, Guernsey, Athens, Gallia, Meigs, Vinton, Morgan, Noble, Washington, Ross, Pickaway, Jackson, Pike, Fairfield, Hocking, Fayette Licking, Knox, Muskingum, Perry, Adams, Lawrence, Scioto, Belmont, Harrison, Jefferson, Monroe, Carroll, Marion, Delaware, Union, Morrow, and Madison.
